Well I'm cd14 today so smack bang in the middle of cycle 12. October 23 will be an exact year of ttc so I would really like to not get there unpregnant (if that's not a word, I just made it one)
I had my internal ultrasound done earlier this week. It's unpleasant of course but the specialist was pretty friendly and talked non stop. Had the feeling he was just doing it to make me feel more comfortable which is considerate.
My uterus was up there on the screen in front of me ( I so wanted him to find a little bean in there and be like ''OMG you're actually pregnant'' I can dream right? Lol) He labelled a couple of things (was not liking the word cyst he kept using) but when it was over he didn't tell me anything about that. Just showed me some photos. The most amazing one being this month's egg. Wow!! Things actually do work in there, well hopefully?
He talked about a procedure he'll refer to the gynacologist of injecting something inside my uterus to clean my tubes out. Likened it to the dishwasher ad on telly. Hmmm? Not sure how I felt about that comparison.
I left feeling satisfied that things are progressing. I have since made a follow up appointment with the gyno for all our test results on Oct 7.
I have a feeling this 2WW will feel like 2 years! I really want to not think about it but haven't had much luck with that previously including the 2 months where I did get BFPs
It's just a waiting game and I just need to keep hanging in there!
Really excited about my cousin due any day with her 1st though! It's so exciting and it's not even me! :)
